Overview
The Westfield Building Corporation was established to acquire land for the construction of buildings, including the necessary equipment and infrastructure. The corporation is also involved in acquiring land and existing buildings, as well as renovating, improving, or expanding these properties. It leases facilities to the City of Westfield, collects rental payments, and applies the proceeds in accordance with Indiana Code.
The corporation is a separate legal entity, and its board members are appointed by the Mayor, with three members serving on the board.
