The Westfield Police Department has certified car seat technicians available for education, inspection, and installation of child car safety seats. Research shows the majority of seats are installed and/or used improperly yet a properly installed safety seat dramatically reduces the chance of injury or death in a vehicle crash.
To schedule a free inspection or installation of a child car seat, please complete the form, and see the link given. Be prepared to supply information on the make and model of the vehicle, the make and model of the car seat, and the age, height, and weight of the child. Most car seat installations take approximately 45 minutes and are done at the Westfield Police Department.
