To Submit a (RAD/RAC) Permit Application Through the Portal

• Visit the Permits and Inspections tab at WeConnect to submit a permit application or create an account.

Required Documents

• Submit an electronic copy of each of the following required documents online through your account at WeConnect.
• (ILP) Building Permit Application (PDF)
• Building plans
• Plot Plan (to scale showing setbacks) To request your plot plan please email your name, address, and email to the Building Department.
• Erosion Control Application (PDF) Questions? Call Westfield Public Works: 317-804-3150 option 6
• Landscape plan (if applicable)
• Manufactured Product Specification sheets (for example: Truss and Floor Joists)

Inspections

• To schedule an inspection visit the Permits and Inspections tab at WeConnect.
• Inspections can be scheduled between 8 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday except holidays.
• To change or cancel an inspection please call 317-804-3150 option 5.
  • Same-day cancellations for scheduled inspections (8 am to 4 pm) will result in a fee equal to a failed inspection.
  • This applies to all inspections, except for footings.
