LIV Golf selects Westfield’s Chatham Hills for 2025 host site
Westfield, IN (November 13, 2024) — The City of Westfield and The Club at Chatham Hills is excited to announce the hosting of LIV Golf Indianapolis August 15 – 17, 2025. The event promises to showcase top-tier talent and provide an unforgettable experience for golf enthusiasts and sports fans of all ages.
Scheduled to take place at Chatham Hills in August 2025, LIV Golf Indianapolis will feature many of the best players in the sport competing across three days of intense individual and team competition as players vie for the coveted 2025 LIV Golf League Individual Champion title, final spots in the 2025 individual standings and seeds for the team championship. As the regular season finale of the LIV Golf League, known for its innovation and commitment to enhancing the fan experience, the tournament in Westfield is set to deliver excitement both on and off the course.
"We are excited to bring LIV Golf to Westfield and the state of Indiana for the first time," said Mayor Scott Willis. "Not only is the city known for hosting large tournaments nearly every weekend in the summer at Grand Park, but add in Chatham Hills’ reputation for hosting top-tier golf tournaments, recently including the MAC Collegiate Championship, we know this will be a spectacular event."
In addition to showcasing top-level competition, the tournament will also feature fan engagement activities, interactive experiences, live music, and opportunities for local businesses to participate and benefit from the event's economic impact.
“The selection of the Club at Chatham Hills to host the prestigious LIV Golf Individual Championship, just weeks before the Ryder Cup is played, is an exciting opportunity to showcase this premier golf course and allow spectators to see golf’s elite players right here in Indiana. We are lengthening the course, renovating the bunkers and making other improvements to enhance the member and spectator experiences which will draw international attention to Westfield and central Indiana,” said Steve Henke, Henke Development.
LIV Golf Indianapolis will showcase many of the biggest names in golf competing in the League’s unique format in a fan-friendly atmosphere. Fans will get up close with major champions and global stars including Bryson DeChambeau (Crushers GC), Brooks Koepka (Smash GC), Jon Rahm (Legion XIII), Cameron Smith (Ripper GC), Dustin Johnson (4Aces GC), Sergio Garcia (Fireballs GC), Joaquin Niemann (Torque GC), Tyrrell Hatton (Legion XIII), and many more.
