Why Westfield: The Wandering Peacock
I participated in Westfield in Lights in 2011 and I believe someone from Downtown Westfield Association approached me and asked if I'd like to rent a city-owned building where Old Town is now. My business opened in July of 2012, and moved locations to Jersey St in 2018. I have been a Downtown business owner going on 13 years. I love all the artistic people that cross my path and lifting up our community through clay.
What is something unique about your business that many people may not know?
I have a shop cat, a community garden in the back and each room is muraled to represent a Beatles song.
What should customers look forward to over the next few months from your business?
Our Art Exploration camp as well as our Throwing camp will be held throughout June and July. Date classes are held weekly, and our Thursday evening socials will add new twists to creativity.
What's your most popular item?
Our Saturday Date Night throwing class has been a big hit.
